Birds of Prey at Wrest Park – August 31st 2003
This year is the 25th anniversary of the founding of Raptor
Rescue and by way of a celebration to mark this milestone, we will
be holding a special one day event at Wrest Park and Gardens.
Arena events start at 10.30am and will feature: Colchester Rescue with unusual owls, Cambridgeshire ferret racing, South East Falconry, Birds of Bray and Ye Olde Redtail Falconry Display (pictured right).
Other attractions will include conservation and rescue groups for badgers, hedgehogs, reptiles, ferrets, cats and butterflies - plus wildlife artist John Gray, Landseer prints and framing, The Hawk & Owl Trust and The British Hawking Association.
There will be interesting things to see and do for families and children of all ages, - not to mention over 90 acres of woodland, water features and gardens to enjoy.
