Collected these gorgeous babies on June 6th. A clutch of 5 kestrels , aged about a week and very lucky. They travelled from Lincoln to Wasall, nest and all, on a bale of straw. They were lucky the farmer herd them whilst stacking the bales. The small one is a little weak but they are feeding well and very noisy. The trick now is not to imprint them and in a few weeks the will be returned to the wild.  This photo was taken on June 23rd and all 5 are doing well.  Well done to all at Gentleshaw
